Venus in Cancer- July 30-August 25

Venus leaves the Mutable Air sign of Gemini and enters the Cardinal Water sign of Cancer, seeking solace in environments and connections that soften the heart. We move from a Yang to a Yin energetic signature. Venus in Cancer starts off on a serious note as Lady Luck immediately create squares to Saturn and Neptune retrograde in the sign of Aries on July 31st and August 1st, conversely. A clear and concise call to awareness in our relationships involving love and money. Saturn's stoic wisdom demands a karmic ending of what is no longer working, while Neptune's presence commands compassion as we grieve what is no longer viable. After the initial reality check, which occurs during the Quarter Moon in fellow Water sign Scorpio, endeavors in financial or romantic arenas require more comfort and emotional security than previous partnerships have provided. Venus in this transit finds value in abundance that is sustainable and fulfilling, as well as nurturing to the nervous system and emotional soul body.
