Pisces Full Moon Lunar Eclipse-Intuition vs. Intellect

The Final Curtain

The Pisces Full Moon Lunar Eclipse at 4° of Pisces will occur late on the 27th or early on the 28th, depending on where you are on the planet. This Eclipse happens at the onset of Virgo Season, where the south node was for the past 18 months. It is considered an out-of-sign Eclipse because the lunar nodes shifted out of the Pisces-Virgo axis and into the signs of Aquarius and Leo at the end of last month. Pisces is the final sign that occupies the final house of the zodiac astrological wheel. We are in the final closing scene of a story that began in September 2024 when this axis of intuition and intellect was initiated. This partial Lunar Eclipse, which is almost full, 93-96% occlusion of Lady Luna, is set to remove an old story.

The Sun entered Virgo on August 22nd. Mercury, Virgo's ruler, hits 29°, the anaretic karmic degree of completion in the sign of Leo on the 25th, conjoins the South Node and opposes the future North Node at 29° of Aquarius. What have we learned over the last two years? What are we ready to finally let go of? Then Mercury moves into its ruling sign of exaltation and enters Virgo on the 25th, and it will quickly conjunct the Sun, creating a Cazimi on the 27th. Mercury represents our conscious mind, and it will meet the heart of our Galaxy Star, illuminating our conscious awareness within hours of the final Eclipse in Pisces perfecting. Why is this important? The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse is the final Eclipse in Pisces until March 20, 2034, which will be at 29 degrees and will be a Solar Eclipse. Pisces is the sign of dreams, illusion, spirituality, intuition, and escapism. Mercury, during this lunation, brings the clarity from the opposite side of the chart, in the sign of Virgo. This is the human consciousness at its finest in this placement. The clarity regarding the final, letting go of any illusory narrative or self-deluding dream that we may still be holding onto will be brought to light and most likely greatly magnified.

This Pisces Full Moon is considered an out-of-sign Eclipse because the lunar nodes have entered the signs of Aquarius and Leo. These are the archetypal energies that the eclipses will predominantly occur in for the next 18 months, until March 2028. Keep in mind the ruler of Aquarius is Uranus. Pluto has arrived in the humanitarian sign, and we are all entering the age of Aquarius as a collective. Uranus ingressed into Gemini, the other Mercury-ruled sign this year, and will transit Gemini through 2033. Uranus is the radical rebel planet that is known to represent the higher octave of Mercury, supporting our ability to operate from a greater awareness and harness a new big picture mentality. AND…this Full Moon Eclipse will be in a tight T-square to Uranus at 5° of Gemini! Yes, that means that both luminaries, the Moon in Pisces and the Sun in Virgo, are creating a challenging square to revolutionary Uranus, giving us one final chance to reconcile the past, turn the corner in two areas of our lives, and activate a new, more revolutionary vision for our future. The Mercury Cazimi occurring just hours before the Eclipse becomes exact is indicating that we can now trust our thinking, that we now know what must finally be eclipsed away and removed from our lives. This is the part where the Universe shows up and does it on our behalf. What is beckoning to be removed? Is it a critical mindset? A judging spirit towards others or of ourselves? Is it a lack of compassion, an escapist tendency, or a pattern of toxic behavior that no longer serves? What are we ready to finally move beyond?

The Pisces Lunar Eclipse is a deep dive into the emotional soul body. The Moon is working with the North Node, which will be just 5° away in the sign of Aquarius, heightening a hunger for something imagined, but not yet actualized. An unrequited dream deep inside that longs for an integration; a healthier plan for living, if you will. Eclipses by their very nature, historically and currently, bring in fated changes, new timelines, and in this case, intense perceptivity and heightened intuition. Trust that! The Uranus T-square indicates that taking a risk, acting on an unconventional idea, or utilizing an unorthodox approach to change will serve us well in the long run. Dive deep into the subconscious realm…You already know!

Jupiter and Neptune, the ancient and modern rulers of Pisces, are both transiting the Fire signs of Leo and Aries, respectively. Everything we ever believed about who we are and what we are capable of is now subject to revision. It is time to ignite the inner creative Spirit, awaken the inner muse, dream a big dream, and boldly and intentionally set it into motion. Pisces reminds us that we are swimming in a sea of uncertainty, and Virgo reminds us that we are completely capable of figuring it out.
