Pluto Retrograde Ends- Time for Revolution
Empowering and Alchemical Pluto stations direct on October 15th, still at 3° Aquarius, while the Goddess of Love, Venus, is retrograde in Pluto's ruling sign, Scorpio. We will all feel this over the coming months as monumental changes become more externalized, and what we are learning internally starts to find its truth. Pluto has been retrograde in the radical sign of Aquarius since May 6th, looking behind to the last age. But now he’s not looking over his shoulder; he is looking to the future. The New Age of Aquarius that we are all entering. In this slow acceleration, Pluto asks, “Where is your power?”
Pluto may be deemed a dwarf, but you can trust and believe that this is a powerful planet! Pluto represents our ability to evolve as a soul in this lifetime. And its energies are extremely elevated as it sits at this standstill, preparing to turn direct. It is important to know that Pluto is also orbiting beyond the plane of the ecliptic, which means that Pluto is orbiting out of bounds, beyond the Sun's influence and beyond the rules typically controlled by our Galaxy Star. This is part of an 11-year period where Pluto travels out of bounds for 3 to 5 months each year. This year, the planet will be in that unreachable orbit for 120 days, which started in August on the 12th and will continue until December 10th. Because Pluto is the ancient ruler of Scorpio, life, death, rebirth, and the underworld, these archetypal energies will intensify. In the sign of Aquarius, where Pluto is sitting, we will certainly see even more global power dynamics for control of resources (petrol) and money heightened. As Pluto begins to look forward into the radical Aquarius Age, hidden abuses of these global and individual themes around control over resources (Venus) will be continually revealed.
The Lord of the Underworld in this rebellious orbit is serving to purge and dissolve what has become corrupt, superficial, or just no longer true. This is a necessary process of death and regeneration personally and collectively. Remember, we are in the (OOB) Pluto return for the United States! Once Pluto finishes its out-of-bounds orbit in 2035, it will not occur again in this radical, rebellious form for thousands of years. Pluto is transiting on a powerful path, providing a period of regenerative opportunity for humanity. A place in time to profoundly recreate a life of substance. We can pivot now, release toxic patterns and fears that have diminished the viability of our future pursuits. As we move into the progressive age of Aquarius, we can embrace a paradigm shift individually and collectively. Aquarius is about an advanced awareness that provides a higher frequency of possibilities, and this is our opening to become a more evolved and enlightened species.
Pluto has been looking back to the past, revealing those resources and relationships that no longer serve us. We get a little help in embracing our ability to alchemize a timeline that is crumbling as the Sun creates a harmonious sextile to Jupiter in Leo on the same day that Pluto stations direct. The abundant connection to the Great Benefic planet Jupiter sends a message of growth from the higher truth of the heart. Jupiter always brings wisdom in the form of a blessing. With Jupiter in the regal sign of Leo, we may feel a little more confident in our ability to act on the changes that need to take place. We may suddenly have a spark of clarity on how to get dislodged in those areas where we have become stagnant. Radical new perspectives, people, and pathways may open up for us now, so take the risk! We are in the care of, and abundance is on the other side of the dismantling.
The following day, on the 16th, Mars, the ancient ruler of Scorpio and the planet of physical action, adds to the support as it creates a Fire trine from Leo to Saturn retrograde in Aries. This is an excellent aspect for committing to the future, pouring our power into our personal passion projects or new relationships, professionally and personally, that appear on our path at this time. A revolutionary new kind of growth will soon unfold contingent on our ability to evoke our inner Warrior and face the truths that we have ignored for far too long. The mighty planet Pluto is still in the separating T-square to Venus retrograde and the ancient Scorpio ruler, Mars. This makes it personal and indicates that underlying dynamics in our partnerships, especially in areas of Union between the masculine and feminine, the Yang and the Yin, will be at the forefront. Whether it’s a lover, money, a job, or kinship... any relationship where the power dynamics have become toxic and corrupt, or where we have confused control for comfort, will now require attention. We have a choice to move in a different direction; to let go of those people, places, and things that are sucking the life out of us.
