Aquarius Full Moon: A Radical Reawakening

I have been pretty quiet about of the radical astrological influences this month, mostly due to its implications in my own personal life as old timelines dissolve and the future insists on being reimagined; however, the Full Moon at 6° of Aquarius with the Sun on the other side of the chart at the same degrees of Leo is one to take note of. It is the first lunation since the Moon’s lunar nodes shifted into the signs of Aquarius and Leo, the axis of the Me and the We. After 18 months of the Head of the Dragon in the sign of dreamy Pisces and the Tail of the Dragon in detailed Virgo, on July 26th the nodal axis shifted into the visionary Air sign of Aquarius, and Leo, the sign of the ultimate ruler. From now until March of 2028, the karmic south node in Leo will see the disintegration of the top-down authority as the north node sets our sights on equalitarian, communal, and collective rebirth as a humanity. We have not experienced this polarity with the north and south nodes in these signs since 2007. What major changes have occurred in your life since then?

The Messenger God Mercury, stationed direct on July 23rd in the moon-ruled sign of Cancer, and will now bring clarity and confirmation on how we move into a more heart-centered and authentic self-expression that allows us to integrate with society. Here, on this threshold in a culminating lunar cycle, is where we prepare for a year-and-a-half phase of evolutionary growth and mind-blowing advancements. The lower vibration of Leo wants to keep its position at center stage, and the shadow expression of Aquarius can be too mechanical and intellectual in our approach. It behooves us to open our minds to the possibilities of the many new and unorthodox pathways to joy that will appear moving forward.

This potentially transformational Full Moon is supported by the moon's conjunction to Pluto in Aquarius in an opposition to the Sun conjunct Jupiter in Leo. The Jupiter/Sun conjunction is a signature of benefit and blessing that is being greatly illuminated in this drastic dichotomy of individual sovereignty versus a hive mentality. This early degree Aquarius Full Moon is an expansive energy that reactivates the cradle configuration that we have been experiencing for the last few weeks. The long-term implications and possibilities of revolutionary Uranus, inspirational Neptune, and transformational Pluto will continue for the next three weeks until the gas giant Jupiter moves out of orb with the infamous 4° basket/cradle and away from contact with the three transpersonal planets. What is being initiated now will certainly play out for years and decades to come. What future can you imagine? What karmic conditioning of the past are you prepared to let go of? How can we become more willing to work together as a whole to create a new existence moving forward?

The stars are asking a lot of us right now, and the nodes of fate and destiny are requiring much fervor in the face of our current dense conditions. Next up is the final Eclipse Season of the year in August. Jupiter conjoined to the Sun in Leo serves as a BIG reminder to have a heart. In the giant scheme of unseen things, that is truly the only thing that matters. Love conquers all. It’s time to remember who You really ARE and own all that you have to offer this world!
