SCORPIO New Moon-release & renewal

The powerful Scorpio New Moon will occur late in the night on the 19th/early morning on the 20th, depending on your time zone, as the Sun and Moon become congruent at 28° of the mystical Water sign. Mercury in retrograde at 29° Scorpio is conjunct this New Moon, creating a Cazimi effect (epiphany) just after the lunation perfects. Scorpio rules the 8th house of life/death, transformation, and shared resources in soul connections; an insight aligns; a path to a turning point is illuminated as our conscious and subconscious become one.
The intensity of this New Moon in the deep, passionate waters of Scorpio heralds a new potency as the Moon (and Sun/Mercury) creates strong aspects to all of the outer planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto). Most notably, this mesmerizing New Moon creates a Grand Water Trine from Scorpio to Jupiter in Cancer, and Saturn/Neptune in Pisces, signifying stellar Spiritual support. We will all need that compassionate celestial influence due to the New Moon's tight opposition to unpredictable Uranus for sure! The rebel planet is in an ongoing sextile to Neptune in Pisces, an aspect that will become exact at 29° (the anaretic karmic degree of completion) shortly after the New Moon. Lady Luna will also be in a close sextile to the modern ruler of Scorpio, Pluto, at 1°Aquarius.
The day after the new lunar cycle is initiated, the Sun ingresses into Sagittarius on the 21st, shifting us from Fixed Water to Mutable Fire, initiating Sagittarius Season. We can all potentially move into a new Season with an expanded perspective as we contemplate powerfully initiating our future quest.

Key Aspects:
Moon opposite Uranus: The frenzied restlessness of Uranus will have a greater impact on the Fixed signs with important planets or points in the late degrees of Taurus, Leo, Aquarius, and, of course, Scorpio. Uranus is opposite the Moon as well as the Sun/Mercury. Mercury is the lower octave of Uranus, so this, coupled with a Cazimi effect, could usher in progressive insights and downloads that may become a catalyst for drastic pivot points later in the week. Unexpected, seemingly disruptive information and events will be strongly activated during the New Moon and continue into next week. The Sun will be in an exact opposition to Uranus on Friday/Saturday! The erratic and shocking energy of Uranus always initially feels like a loss, but on the other side of the lightning strike, there is liberation and elevation to a higher frequency of possibilities.
Moon sextile Pluto: The powerful dwarf planet Pluto is the ruler of this lunation and is now moving direct in the sign of Aquarius, transforming and evolving us as a humanity. Even though a sextile is a softer aspect, the self-empowering planet is connecting to both of our luminaries, offering a pathway to resurrect our personal power. Pluto is considered the Lord of the underworld, which rules all those things we buried alive that never really died, the emotional depths of our psyche. Pluto in the mix increases the potential of revelatory information coming through during this lunation. There is a collective ripple effect to this slow burn.
Moon conjunct Mercury: At the time of this New Moon, Mercury, the Messenger God, is in retrograde just 16 minutes away from both luminaries. In the sign of Scorpio with the Sun's illuminating effects, and the soul discovery provided by the divine Mother Moon, we can expect information that we were not privy to up until this point to come to light. This could be personal as well as global. Because the Moon is opposite Uranus, we may be blindsided by what we hear and learn. Mercury in the sign of secretive Scorpio is reaching sleuth status, shining a light onto the crevices and cave wall so that we can see the pictures and read the hidden words. Discernment is key, and the higher elevation planets are working well to assist us in what is true for us.
The background energy of the ongoing Uranus/Neptune sextile doesn’t automatically occur; it is an opportunity if we are willing to show up. Neptune is the higher octave of Venus, just as Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury. For the next several months, these two transpersonal planets allow us to access and operate in a higher spiritual awareness as well as an elevated ability to connect to the heart. The connection between these two planets began in August of this year and will play out until July 2026. Seize the opportunity to tap into the higher heart and mind that operates beyond and above the human ego.
Another influencing energy, although not aspecting the Moon, is that Venus is currently transiting the sign of Scorpio and will Trine the North Node at 15° of the signs just prior to the perfection of this New Moon. This is a very fated and abundant signature. We may suddenly lose interest in what held value and find new worth in areas of romance and resources that we wouldn't have previously considered. It behooves us to remain open-minded in areas of desire and self-sustainability.
