Pluto Retrograde

We are moving forward in a new lunar cycle that was initiated on 4/27. Beyond the tense Mars-Pluto oppositions, however, the effects will be palpable throughout the next two weeks at a minimum. The dense dwarf planet Pluto is sitting at a standstill, preparing to begin its first retrograde fully in the Fixed Air sign of Aquarius in our lifetime. Pluto is a very slow-moving planet that has moved back and forth between Capricorn and Aquarius over the past few years. This time, the mighty dwarf will remain in Aquarius in totality all year and transit through the sign until March 8, 2043, when it slowly ingresses into Pisces. The Dark Lord traveling back to the first degree of the Waterbearer of Wisdom and enlightenment heralds a potent journey of discovery, awakening, and transferrence of power in our private lives and on a global scale. This Pluto retrograde in Aquarius will uncover and unleash the themes that will play out over the next two decades as humanity is being morphed into a revolutionary Aquarian age. A catalyzing time of monumental change and radical evolution is upon us. Pluto is the final outer planet in our Solar system and farthest from the Sun. It is the third transpersonal planet, meaning the radical metamorphosis of power, sex, finances, and death will have personal implications as well as societal ones.

Although Aquarius is a fixed sign, it is fueled by new, unconventional, and open-minded approaches to redefining the future. The elevated wisdom of the sign will get a boost as Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius, leaves Taurus and enters the mutable Air sign of Gemini on July 7th, right at the midpoint of Pluto's retrograde. Uranus in communicative Gemini will create a supportive Air trine to Pluto in Aquarius, which will play out over the next three years. We will begin to see things completely differently and potentially possess a greater understanding of the pioneering opportunities and plans that start to appear on the timeline. These themes will be focused on how we send and receive information, and bring radical and unexpected upgrades in communication and the exchange of ideas and information. Death to the dysfunctional thinking patterns will open us up to Cosmic and Galactic information and insights. Pluto in Aquarius connects us with the subliminal places of our higher consciousness. It is quite supernatural. Uranus will remain in the sign of Gemini for almost 7 years. Gemini is ruled by Mercury, and Uranus is the higher active of Mercury. Pluto will be backtracking the first degrees of Aquarius, starting at 3° 49' on May 4th and stationing direct at 1° 22' on October 13th.
