October 2025- Real Talk

The month of October is unfolding like a hall of mirrors. Picture dimly lit corridors with laser beams bouncing off the walls and ceiling like a pinball machine. It starts a little crunchy with Mars loosening a square to Pluto; where is your power being placed? We start the process with an emboldened and essentially unaspected Aries Full Moon, encouraging us to create the life we desire. Mars is the ruler of this lunation and is currently transiting Scorpio. It is solid and driven in this placement of ancient domicile and is leading the way for Mercury, who will soon enter the sign of Scorpio. Until then, it is like taking a step in the dark and trusting that we will understand the meaning later. Mars energy in this transit is about primal and instinctual movement.


Venus will conjunct the karmic South Node in Virgo, a sign ruled by Mercury, offering new insights on what no longer fulfills or has value. This revelation, no matter how challenging, is the path to recalibration, setting the stage for more balance when Venus enters her home sign of Libra mid-month. Did I mention Venus enters Libra on the same day that Pluto stations direct in Aquarius?!? Yes, Pluto is completing an annual 5-month review in the collective sign as we shift into the Aquarian Age. What has dissolved since May 4th so that something new and beautiful can grow? Only an upgrade will do for Lady Luck as she creates the Grand Air trine to Pluto in Aquarius and Uranus retrograde in Gemini, just as Mercury and the Sun did last month. This is a huge breath of fresh air; a massive influx of insights, and future possibilities that now affect us personally. We can start to utilize and integrate the higher frequencies into our day-to-day lives.


Pluto will leave retrograde, and Neptune will retrograde back into Pisces this October. These transits will play out on a societal scale for years to come, but what can we do right now? Mercury will conjoin Mars just before the Libra New Moon perfects on the 21st, allowing our mind and movements to work congruently. And then Mercury takes the lead, moving in front of Mars, and our actions finally follow our ideas. There is a piercing insight coupled with a profound inner knowing to be revealed by the Messenger God this month, and we will have the strength to follow through on the truths lying in wait for revelation. A deep soul-level discovery is unfolding. Because all the personal planets are so heavily involved in October, rest assured that the intimate connections in our lives will feel as if they are viewed under a microscope. Scorpio IS the sign of shared resources in soul contracts. As the scrutiny uncovers what we now need to know, for the sake of sincerity, we must have the hard conversations. First in our own subconscious and then, perhaps as we move into Sagittarius Season, we share them with others.


In addition to the radical Air trines, Mars and Mercury will create super psychic Water trines, first to the North Node in Pisces just before the New Moon, and then Jupiter in Cancer and Saturn/Neptune in Pisces after the Sun moves into Scorpio. This spooky season will feel more like supernatural support. The personal Water trines to Jupiter in Cancer provide potential for a blessing on the other side of this intense soul growth. Needless to say, this month is an inside job. Scorpio signatures tend to be a little (a lot) secretive, and that is not necessarily a bad thing in October. As we embrace our inner sleuth this month, it would behove us to allow some internal investigation prior to outward broadcasting. Big transpersonal themes are playing out as Pluto stations direct, Neptune retrogrades back into its ruling sign of Pisces, joining Saturn, and more will be revealed. Until then, we can study the reflections being mirrored back to us through the lens of others, cultivate soul connections, and most importantly, to thine own self be true!

  • 21st: NEW MOON at 28°Libra- T-square to Pluto and Jupiter; pivot point: grow or go!

  • 22nd: Neptune retrogrades back into Pisces: Is your dream big enough? You are magic.

  • 22nd: Sun leaves Libra and enters Scorpio: Air to Water; thinking to sensing. spooky szn.

  • 25th: Mercury/Scorpio trine Saturn/Pisces at 26° - A plan to stabilize the future visions.

  • 29th: Mercury/Scorpio trine Neptune/Pisces at 29° - The old dream is done; bittersweet.

  • 29th: Mars/Scorpio trine Saturn/Pisces at 25° - Duty-driven-divinely inspired commitment.
