July Astro-retro review and revamp

I apologize for the delay in the July article. Cancer season with Jupiter in the sign of Lady Luna has been filling my life with a frenzy of family, emotional intensity, and the death of a loved one. These events caused work delays, yet put what's really important into perspective. The emotional changes will persist as we move through this cosmic time of reckoning as a collective soul body. This month, the retrograde season kicks in with big moves from some of the big societal planets, as well as Mercury and our Wounded Healer, Chiron. The outer planets will start to review and finalize the past timelines and then move forward with themes that will play out for decades to come, so book that personal reading now!

July is a month of intellectual illumination and intense self-inquiry that could call for sudden course correction due to unexpected occurrences. This is due largely in part to the revolutionary planet Uranus, which will be leaving the grounded Earth sign of Taurus and ingressing into the mutable Air sign of Gemini for the next four months. The radical planet of change will be in Gemini until November 7th of this year, will then station retrograde, and will be moving forward in Gemini again on April 25, 2026, all the way until May 22, 2033. A mind-blowing shift into the age of Aquarius is upon us. We will have exciting new opportunities for upgraded collaborations and innovations that will unfold, allowing us to raise our frequency as a human species.

After a short reprieve of planets moving forward, we will have four planets stationing retrograde in Fire signs. Neptune, Saturn, and Chiron will all begin their retrograde in Aries, requiring pauses and reflection prior to action. In the Cardinal sign of Aries, this could fuel agitation and restlessness. This pause, in my opinion, is a Saturnian gift, one that can potentially prevent the archetypal Aries ego-driven recklessness. Mercury will retrograde in the fellow Fire sign of Leo to re-examine our position of personal authority, power, and integrity.

• July 4th: Neptune retrograde in Aries. This backward journey moves us beyond the earthly plane and into the ethereal realm. Neptune backtracks the last few degrees of Pisces to reveal any self-illusory ideologies or dreams. Revelation of truth is the gift of this nebulous planet returning to its home sign. Neptune will station direct on December 10, 2025

• July 4th: Venus moves into Gemini. Just before Lady Luck enters the super social sign of Gemini, she will conjoin rebel planet Uranus at the final degrees in her home sign of Taurus. This could provide the proverbial epiphany of the Uranus transit in Taurus that was initiated in August 2018. Where have we become unstuck? How are we open to attracting abundance more unconventionally as a result of the last seven years? This is a great transit for creative endeavors, take the risk!

• July 7th: Uranus ingresses into Gemini.

  Uranus is considered the planet of our cosmic consciousness and is the higher octave of Mercury, which represents our human consciousness. We can expect to review our mindset, connections, and communication styles as we prepare to broaden our perspective, in terms of future possibilities and implementation of plans.

• July 10th: Full Moon occurs in Capricorn. This is a back-to-life, back-to-reality lunar culmination. What are we willing to commit to? As our Moon in the Saturn-ruled sign opposes the Sun in Cancer, there is an emotional drive that requires steadfastness. The Moon is opposite her ruling sign, and this is a mirror reflection of our emotional maturity. We can lean into a momentary serious approach to long-term security. The Moon's ruler, Saturn, is preparing to retrograde in just a few days to review our sense of authority and support any endeavors to be our own.

• July 13th: Saturn retrograde in Aries. What must end in order for something new to begin? Boundaries are a big theme with this transit of our time lord. "To thine own self be true" lest we repeat the same karmic cycles. A call to commit to the authentic version of who we are and what we envision can gain some substance.

• July 17th: Mercury retrograde in Leo. This is the 2nd of three retrogrades for Mercury this year. The planet of thoughts and communication will take a quick backwards journey to cover and reveal the messages of the extensive Mars retrograde in Cancer/Leo earlier this year. What have we learned about our inner light and emotional authority, and how are we ready to express that to others?

• July 22nd: Sun leaves Cancer, enters Leo. As Cancer season comes to a close, a new fiery season of confident displays is initiated. Bold and gregarious Leo energy brings in the light of our inner spirit and our creative gifts. The power to operate in an energy of authentic joy is supported and magnified. Playfulness is an art.

• July 24th: New Moon in Leo. The New Moon occurs as our luminaries become congruent in the Fire sign ruled by the Sun. Our galaxy star is at home here, so step onto that stage and share with your audience. Go big or go home, and have fun!

• July 30th: Chiron retrograde in Aries. A review of our old wounded parts that have prevented us from embracing our inner warrior. We get stellar support from Saturn and Neptune, both also in their retrograde in the sign of self. From now until January 2, 2026, we will have the opportunity for introspection that can alchemize our personal pain into inner wisdom.
