The first New Moon of the calendar year occurs at 28° of Capricorn on the 18th. This is a highly aspected lunation with conjunctions to personal planets and supportive connections to the outer collective planets. There is quite a feeling of finality in a cycle that typically symbolizes setting new intentions. In order to know what we're committing to, or at least revolutionizing in some way, we must be solid on what we are closing out and letting go of in this moment of time. A stoic sense of staying power, like seagoat level, is required to hold the higher spiritual center as we prepare to set our goals into motion. We are in a time of extreme Astrology. This will, in fact, be the last lunar cycle of our lives that will aspect the Neptune/Saturn conjunction in Pisces. The diversely different duo will hit of Aries on February 20th, sparking a new life force energy; a new personal call of duty, if you will. Saturn, the ruler of Capricorn and therefore this New Moon, will not support any more fleeting fancies or illusory ideologies.

The Sun and Moon, congruent in the Cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn, are closely conjoined to personal planets Mars and Mercury, which are in an exact conjunction at 26° of Capricorn as the New Moon perfects. We must think before we act because Saturn's influences always bring consequences or rewards for our due diligence, or lack thereof. The Moon is also in an out-of-sign conjunction to Venus and Pluto in Aquarius at and 3°, respectively. Lady Luck is in the underworld with its ruler to resurrect and innovate our enlightened values. This is not for the faint of heart and alludes to the need for future communal support. This means the New Moon is a stellium of 5 personal planets (Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, and Mercury) plus Pluto! This level of unprecedented alignment indicates that in our personal lives, we KNOW the assignment, and our Galaxy Star is ensuring that! Additionally, the New Moon creates a final supportive sextile to Saturn and Neptune in the late degrees of Pisces. An old story is ending. The antiquated timeline concludes. What solid version of ourselves is worth committing to now? This pragmatic Capricorn moon also creates a radical Earth trine to Uranus retrograde at 27° of Taurus, a spiritually supportive connection that can provide new progressive pathways and a larger venue for future possibilities. This feels like a lightning bolt flash catapulting us out of an old timeline (Capricorn) and into a new one that works much more efficiently (Aquarius).

Yet, why do we resist this change? Pluto and Venus are amazing aids in transforming our truth. Personal values and an empowered sense of self-worth are allowing us to take an unconventional approach to a new form of security. This New Moon sets the stage for committing to our plans, goals, path, and most importantly, ourselves. If there were ever an energy that can see us through to the other side, this Capricorn New Moon is it! Ground into your new dreams and visions as if they were your new job, and the ONLY job. May we all intend to morph the very fabric of our future realities in a manner that provides long-term support, security, and personal staying power. The time to share our passion projects with others in a world of co-creation will quickly come, but for now, "To thine own self be true."

There is a wide orb (10°) opposition to the Great Benefic planet Jupiter at 18° of Capricorn, calling for emotional maturity in the seeking of our personal future endeavors. We can find the healing wisdom of childhood traumas, beliefs, and programming, and move beyond them now! Let the old timeline go as we reinvent stability and security that FEELS right, nurturing, and complete. Call back all your parts and remember who you are and what you are divinely capable of creating. The new story is yours to write. If I can be of assistance in this intention, please schedule a personal reading with me. Many New Moon Blessings, everyone.
