December 2025- the month of enlightened change

December is the last month of the year in our Gregorian calendar system; a time of closing out the lessons of the past 12 months and envisioning a new timeline, dream, or story. The next month will unfold as cosmic intensity increases and propels us to a season of fated endings and destined new beginnings, largely due to the involvement of the lunar nodes. We start the month with a hypercharged Gemini Full Moon at 13° on the 4th. Mercury is the ruler of this lunation and is fresh out of retrograde in the sign of Scorpio. Mercury is harmonizing with the big gun planets, Saturn, Neptune, and Jupiter, in the fellow water signs. Saturn just stationed direct at the end of November (thank the Gods!), and Neptune will station direct this month, lending an air of miraculous momentum brewing in the background. Although super frenzied, this spiritually supportive lunation is catalyzing a crossroads.

Both of our Moons this month will take place near points of cosmic power in our galaxy. The Gemini Full Moon on the 4th is a Super Moon opposing the Sun in Sagittarius, aligning with a point called the Great Attractor at 14° of Sagittarius. On the 19th, the Sagittarius New Moon at 28° will be conjunct the Galactic Center at 27° of the philosophical Fire sign. Both lunations indicate this is a destined time of inevitable growth shifts that have been many moons in the making. Everything changes now.

In addition to the supercharged Full Moon and New Moon, Neptune stations direct at 29° of Pisces, the karmic degree of completion on the 10th. By mid-month, Mercury, Saturn, and Neptune are all direct, and the misty momentum starts to feel like a crisp inhalation of fresh cold air. Mercury leads the way to new insight integration as a higher awareness of this year’s stern lessons is revealed. Shattered illusions provide the intuitive push to embody all that has been learned. The ongoing Grand Water Trine, first activated by the Sun in October, is reignited with an intuitively motivated Mercury. Intellect and intuition no longer need to be allocated. Mercury is making way for a new and elevated mindset this month. With the lunar nodes and Galactic points infusing an indescribable energy we prepare to experienced, this month feels like we have our feet on opposite sides of a rushing creek. As the water rises, we must pull 1 foot to the other to stabilize our stance. We decide which side we choose to stand on. Trust flow state.

KEY DATES:

• 12/4-FULL MOON at 13°Gemini, square the lunar nodes and opposite the Sun/Great attractor at 13°/14° respectively. As this massive point pulls our galaxy and propels it through space, we feel that the fabric of our time-space reality is being morphed as well. Mercury, the ruler of this Super Full Moon, is out of retrograde, and the story lands! The Mercury opposition to Uranus is accelerating our awareness, and the gap between our conscious understanding and the possibilities of the great unknown is narrowing with the quickness.

• 12/6- GRAND WATER TRINE is created as Mercury in Scorpio connects with Saturn in Pisces and Jupiter in Cancer at 25°. This is an uninterrupted flow of spiritual support and potential blessing. With Neptune within orb of this conjunction, a sense of the miraculous permeates the air with possibilities. Mercury is completing an intense journey through Scorpio, and is now moving direct with unimaginable insight, intuitive knowing, and a discernment that we trust in our gut!

• 12/10- Neptune stations direct at the 29°, the karmic degree of completion. It takes Neptune 165 years to orbit, and Neptune, the Godpoint of Pisces, is finishing a 14-year transit in its home sign, as well as humanity currently wrapping up an over 2.000 year Piscean Age! We all have ample reason to feel a little warped! What a miraculous time to be alive. Now, Saturn and Neptune will inch towards their conjunction at the Aries 0° point in February of 2026, when the new journey drops in.

• 12/11-Mercury reaches the anaretic 29° of Scorpio and opposes Uranus retrograde at the same degree of Taurus. The impractical becomes a form of stability, and our need to do it alone meets the urge to share our future resources. The elevated cosmic consciousness downloads a glimpse of the future. How do we bring heaven to earth for a lived experience? I'm now convinced it isn't supposed to be a solo journey. Sudden pivot of priorities!

• 12/15- Mars enters the Cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn, and it's on! Mars, our planet of identity and physicality, is exalted in this sign, so the driven determination to get the job done will seem more like a passion project and less like a chore. The energy to initiate our desires will seem like second nature. No second-guessing! Go where your authentic self leads! This is calling us to commit to our own dreams and priming us for the new mission, duty, or path of our future self come February. Don't forget, this little red planet of war is still orbiting out of bounds until January, so ego-check those motives!

• 12/19- NEW MOON at 28° Sagittarius is just one degree from the Galactic Center, sparks inner growth and outer expansion. With Mars and Venus conjunct this lunation, this new cycle is personal! We have a deeper understanding of what we are willing to commit to, and an intellectual grasp of what narrative must conclude. Jupiter, the ruler of this New Moon, is retrograde in Cancer, retrieving the truth about our new emotional maturity and compassion for others. A "we" theme is brewing, and a broading philosophy on liberation and freedom is nigh.

• 12/21- The Sun leaves the Mutable Fires of Sagittarius and ingresses into the Cardinal Earth sign of Capricorn, marking the sacred time of Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere. Just one more monumental event of destined and fated growth and transformation. The cycles of nature are the core connection to our true evolution. Blessed Be!

• 12/24- Venus enters Capricorn. The (crappy )Cappy party gets seriously attractive when the Goddess of Love joins forces with the Sun and Mars (her cosmic counterpart). Only serious applicants need apply, and come correct! This is not a fleeting fancy or dwindling aesthetic; this is recognizing value and a willingness to physically show up in solidarity. Commitment is the new sexy.

  
  

We end the month of December with Mercury in Sagittarius creating a Fire Trine to Chiron in Aries on the 27th, Mars in Capricorn sextile the North Node in Pisces on the 29th, and Mercury square Saturn in Pisces on the 30th, just before the messenger god of planets moves into Capricorn on January 1st. These personal planet aspects offer the perfect time for annual review and course correction where necessary. We can settle into the dark of Winter knowing we are intuitively aware and intellectually prepared for 2026!
