February 24th (at 7:30 AM EST for me), the Virgo Full Moon becomes exact at 5 degrees in the mutable Earth sign, opposite the Sun at 5 degrees of Pisces. The axis of fact vs. faith, details and dreams, is fertile ground to find the fulcrum. A time to seek a balance between judgment and acceptance, both inwardly and outwardly. Virgo is a sign of service, health and wellness, as well as a natural-born healers. This lunation encourages such attributes to be applied to self. The Sun sits between Mercury (Virgo's ruling planet) and Saturn in Pisces. In fact, the Moon sits alone across from the three in Pisces and all other remaining planets and points surround Pisces in the signs Aquarius, Aries, and Taurus. Strongly indicating that this healing is personal. We engage the support of both luminaries with a detailed focus on our own mental health while simultaneously embracing the magical interconnectedness of the Piscean realm. If we create a personal plan of healing, we can trust that the spiritual path will unfold. However, releasing any attachment to outcome is the challenge with emotionally charged Virgo energies.
The Virgo Full Moon will be opposing Saturn in Pisces, allowing the inspirations to unfold in real-time. Work at trusting our own intuition comes to mind here. Long-term improvements in our spiritual and physical health are possible when we put in the work...a Virgo specialty! The focus on emotional healing also intermingles with personal freedoms in our intimate connections due to the Mars/Venus conjunction at 8/9 degrees of Aquarius respectively, square to Jupiter in Taurus during this Full Moon. This background aspect indicates a pressured decision of sorts regarding the cosmic lovers. A reconciliation of the yin/yang in the houses these two signs occupy in our chart. A potential revelation regarding the higher truth of our desired liberation in sacred union moving forward.
Lady Luna creates a beautiful Earth trine to Jupiter during this lunar culmination of visions and reality. Emotional truths now imbue our conscious awareness. This optimistic alignment can certainly superceed the (Virgo) inner critic. If we can dream it, we can do it! And it doesn't have to be perfect. Progress (Saturn) is always thwarted in the seeking of perfection.
Echoing the themes of self-care is the not-so-subtle background conjunction of Chiron (our inner wounds) and the lunar North Node (destined path) in the Fire sign of Aries. This is a rare empowering ability to heal ourselves. How we think, how we feel, and our physical integrity. A deeper understanding of the many physiological aspects to healing is the potential of this micro yet mighty Virgo Full Moon!
In lieu of these stellar aspects, isn't working to become the healthiest version of ourselves the hallmark of any healthy relationship? Where can we break free from the repeating cycles that disempower us as a person? As we face our deepest wounds and courageously choose to heal the less-than-optimal patterns of the past, it changes us on a subconscious level. And as we continue on our inspired path, the spiritual subconscious becomes conscious, and the changes will appear in the physical realm. Is manifestation a mindset? This Moon feels like garden tending is beautiful. My Full Moon Mantra: "I am firmly rooted in my growth."
