VENUS in Leo-The bold and beautiful! 8/25-9/19

Venus leaves the sign of Cancer and enters Leo on the 25th, shifting us from Yin Water to Yang Fire. (The same day that Mercury leaves retrograde shadow!) Within 48 hours of entry, she will create a Fire trine to Saturn/Neptune in Aries, a sextile to Uranus in Gemini, and then oppose Pluto in Aquarius! Lady Luck is feeling large and in charge! These radical connections allow us to revise the systems that can support our revamped values. Self-awareness takes center stage here. How are we ready to embody our truest selves? What are our new ideals in romance and monetary requirements? What do we consider abundant living at this point?

The archetypal energies of Venus and Leo promote playfulness in our pursuits of romance or resources. Creativity sparks in this bold Fire sign, and we are excited to share who we are. Venus is an energy of attraction rather than promotion in larger-than-life Leo; this requires commanding, not demanding, what we desire. Being seen in our relationships is Big with this transit. This spiritual checkpoint is encouraging us to pursue our future dreams and is ideal for embracing the inner muse. Venus connects with her cosmic counterpart, Mars, at 25° of Libra in the form of a supportive sextile on the 15th. This harmonious connection of the lovers in the relationship axis signs could offer some harmony and balance in our intimate relationships if we work for it.

On September 16th, Venus creates a Fire trine to Chiron retrograde in Aries. We can bravely move past insecurities and own all of our parts. The beauty is found in the imperfections. The final aspect occurs on the 18th as Venus at 28° of Leo creates an inconjunct to Saturn retrograde at 28° Pisces. an aspect requiring adjustment and perhaps a reality check as to what must be eliminated to bring our dreams down to earth. Venus will leave Leo and enter Virgo on September 19th, just after Mercury enters Libra, creating an energy of mutual receptivity. (Venus rules Libra, Mercury rules Virgo) There is a new understanding of what we value and who values us. Heart and mind are working congruently, and the stage is set for the September 21st New Moon, partial Solar Eclipse in Virgo at the (29) karmic degree of completion. An outdated mindset in matters of the heart is done.

As the Goddess of love connects with the big outer planets, Saturn, Neptune, and Pluto in retrograde, Uranus newly arrived in Gemini, and Chiron retrograde in Aries during this transit, we are encouraged and emboldened to embrace the uncomfortable revelations around self-worth.
