Libra New Moon-Balance is Beautiful

The Sun in Libra is catching up to an ongoing square between Jupiter in Cancer and Chiron in Aries, creating a Cardinal T-square. This is an impasse; we must decide how to turn the corner and reconcile the inner wounding and the outer expansion, the past and the future. Decision-making is not a Libra archetypal stronghold, but as a Cardinal sign, Libra is well equipped to take the first step! We are all ready for the current energy signature to level out in some area of our lives, especially interpersonal relationships. Look to the house that the last 10° of Libra occupy in your chart to see where this will be focused. Venus rules Libra, and they govern the 7th house of intimate partnerships, traditionally the marriage house. But this applies to all of our connections, not just romantic. This Libra season knows that boundaries are beautiful and balance now becomes a verb. The New Moon at 28° offers a perfect initiation point. We can gracefully move into a new lunar cycle, intentionally seeking inner harmony.
There is a building background influence in the intense sign of Scorpio as Mercury has been following Mars and their conjunction becomes exact at 18° on the 20th, within 24 hours of the New Moon. Mars is in emboldened in his sign of ancient rulership, and as Mercury, our human conscious awareness becomes congruent with our driven desires, we can expect that to bubble up into some pretty intense conversations. We now understand that some things need to be said, and a hard conversation can be a catalyst for the healing and balance that we are seeking. The Mars/Mercury conjunction will continue to play out for a few days after the New Moon, an influence we could channel into our creative passion projects. Mars conjunct Mercury in Scorpio brings piercing insight, which could provide a powerhouse of productivity. Move a muscle, change a thought!
As the lovely Libra Moon perfects on the 21st in the final degrees of the sign, there is an echoing theme of completion. A Grand Water Trine forming in the background is offering stellar spiritual support as Jupiter and Cancer connect with Saturn retrograde in Pisces. By the 24th, Mercury and Mars will begin to create Grand Water trines to Jupiter and Saturn. So, by the end of the month, the outer planets bring it to a personal level. As we begin to move through the new lunar cycle, the subtleties of Spirit will become more pronounced in our day-to-day lives. Empirical proof will start to show up on the timeline that could restore our faith. It’s quite a twist on the typically intense Scorpio Season. Yin Water energy will infuse our lives with compassion, emotional comfort, and an ability to be guided by what our subconscious is connecting to far beyond this 3-D world. We are supernatural beings having a human experience. Make magic!
Just after the Libra New Moon, Neptune retrograde will move back into Pisces, its home sign of rulership. This outer planet moves very slowly and will be sitting at the 29° mark, the karmic degree of completion in the sign that rules the 12th house, until the end of January next year. This is the final curtain call. One last fantastic voyage to a dream, a fantasy, or a former point of inspiration that is ready to be replaced with how we now envision our future. This fleeting opportunity to tap into our Divine Spark of creativity will culminate on February 20th of 2026, when Neptune and Saturn are leaving Pisces for good and conjoin at 0° of Aries. This Aries degree point is the most potent degree of potentiality in the zodiac wheel. It sparks us into new life. It’s quite reminiscent of a new Hero's Journey. Aries 0° does not hold the burden of the past or the fear of the future. A nebulous muse that we never imagined could become real will have the capacity to provide a dense structure and system of long-term security. Pure Magic.!
